When I was 15 years old I heard Iron Maiden’s “Wrathchild” and right at that exact moment I knew I wanted to become a bass player!
I practiced and practiced for 3 years until I joined my first band “Point After” with Mike Tucker (R.I.P.) My next project was a band called “Sinister” for 1 year. My next project was “Chemikill” which took on a life of it’s own, from 1987 to 1990 “Chemikill” flourished in the Cleveland Metal Scene. The song “Deadline” was on Auburn Records compilation album “Heavy Artillary.” Juan Riccardo was in Chemikill for a short period and then the band broke up. But that didn’t stop me. Quickly after that I joined “Attaxe” with Jaun Riccardo. My next project was “Mystic” got a record deal and went on to Germany to record but I wasn’t able to be there, so Joe Kilcoin from “Ritual” took my place and did a fantastic job.
I took time off for a few years and I wrote and album for a band called “Shades Of Rememberance.” which I played lead and rhythm guitar. Shortly after that I got a call from Juan Riccardo telling me that “Sleeplord” needed a bass player, after my audition I got the job! We re-recorded “Levels OF Perception” with Mick Ross on drums and we couldn’t be happier.
